Charlotte Siebenrock

Charlotte Siebenrock (* 1962 in Amberg , Upper Palatinate ) is a German author , director and caster .

Life

Charlotte Siebenrock moved to Berlin in 1980 . From 1982 to 1986 she completed an acting training there and worked for film, television and theater until 1994; both in front of and behind the camera / stage.

This was followed by a degree in Medieval and English Studies at the Free University of Berlin . From 1997 to 2000 she wrote and directed over 50 fictional contributions as a freelance producer for Pro 7 and was head of the casting department at UFA Serial Drama GmbH from 2000 to 2017 .

In 2004 she wrote the screenplay for the 35mm short film Open , which she also directed . Peter Nix was responsible for the visual concept and the editing .

In addition to numerous invitations to short film festivals, Open received the rating "Particularly valuable" from the Wiesbaden film evaluation office . Charlotte Siebenrock has been working as a freelance writer , director and caster in Berlin since March 2017 . She is a member of the Federal Casting Association and Pro Quote Film eV
