Chayenne Ewijk (born August 17, 1988 in Barendrecht ) is a Dutch tennis player .
Career
Ewijk started playing tennis at the age of nine and, according to the ITF player profile, prefers hard courts. She mainly plays tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has won seven singles titles and 19 doubles titles.
Ewijk played her first professional tournament in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 2003 . In 2005 she was in her first final in the tournament in Porto Santo , where she lost to the Portuguese Magali de Lattre .
In 2008 she entered the qualification for the first time at a tournament of the WTA Tour in Bogota , but lost after two wins in the qualifying round and missed the entry into the main draw in the individual.
In 2017 she competed on the WTA Tour in Washington with her doubles partner Rosalie van der Hoek in the doubles competition at the Citi Open , but lost in the first round against the US duo Jamie Loeb and Ashley Weinhold with 2: 6 and 0: 2 after an injury-related task. At the Korea Open , another WTA competition, Ewijk / van der Hoeck also lost in the first round against the Thai pairing Luksika Kumkhum and Peangtarn Plipuech 6: 7, 4 and 4: 6.
In 2010 she played four singles for the Dutch Fed Cup team . She won two of her four singles.
In the second tennis league they played in 2007 and 2008 for the Lintorfer Tennis Club . For the TC Blau-Weiss Bocholt she played in the 1st Bundesliga in 2009 , 2010 , 2013 and 2014 and won the German championship with Bocholt in 2013 and 2014 .
In the Dutch league she played for TC Amstelpark Gold Star Tenn (Amstelveen) in 2009 and 2012 , for TV Dekker Tennis (Warmond) in 2013 , for TC Salland (Bathmen) from 2014 to 2016 and for TV Rapiditas (Nijmegen) in 2017 .
In December 2017 she became national champion of the Netherlands with a final victory over 17-year-old Dainah Cameron . In the double final, she and her partner Erika Vogelsang lost to the pairing Demi Schuurs and Rosalie van der Hoek .
Since November 2018 it has not been included in the world rankings.
