The Chipotle-First Solar Development Team (initially Chipotle Development Team ) was an American cycling team based in Boulder .

The team was founded in 2011 and took part in the UCI Continental Circuits as a Continental team . The manager was Chann McRae , who was supported by the sporting directors Corey Hart and Nico Mattan . The Chipotle Development Team was the “ farm team ” of the UCI ProTeam Garmin-Barracuda and, like the ProTeam, was operated by Slipstream Sports under CEO Jonathan Vaughters .

Since the beginning of the 2012 season , First Solar , a manufacturer of thin-film solar modules , has joined the previous sole name sponsor, the high- speed restaurant chain Chipotle Mexican Grill , as a second name sponsor.

At the end of November 2012, the Chipotle announced its withdrawal from sponsoring the team, whereupon the operating company Slipstream Sports released the drivers from their contractual obligations and advised them to look for a new job despite trying to find a successor sponsor. The team was no longer registered as a Continental Team for the 2013 season.
