Christian Curth (born March 17, 1970 in Bad Tölz ) is a former German ice hockey player ( defender ), who ended his career in the 2005/06 season at EHC Munich .

Career

Curth had his first appearance in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1987/88 season at EC Bad Tölz in a season in which he was mostly used in the juniors. He remained loyal to the Tölz team until the 1989/90 season and until then was increasingly used in the Bundesliga team, but also had a few appearances with the juniors.

In the years 1990 bis 1993 Curth played for the Adler Mannheim in the 1. Bundesliga before the 1993/94 season to the Augsburger Panther changed, with whom he won the second division championship and with a year later in the German Ice Hockey League played . After a year with the Augsburg Panthers in the newly founded DEL, he moved to the league competitor Hannover Turtles at the beginning of the 1995/96 season .

After a very successful season in Hanover, Curth signed a contract for the 1996/97 season with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers , for which he was also on the ice in the 1997/98 season . Nuremberg was his last position in the DEL before he returned to his home club in Tölz in the 1998/99 season in the 2nd Bundesliga, for which he played until the 2004/05 season, before signing a contract with EHC Munich for the 2005 season / 06 signed.

At EHC Munich, however, he only made nine games and injured himself, whereupon he ended his active career.
