Our star for Oslo
When the television stations Das Erste and ProSieben called for the casting show Unser Star for Oslo to find the German candidate for the Eurovision Song Contest, Durstewitz was among the twenty candidates who could present themselves on the TV shows. The first single with the song Stalker , which he had already performed in the casting, was released on October 8, 2010. Two weeks later, the album Let Me Sing was released . Except for Faith , Durstewitz composed all the songs himself. The album was produced in the Berlin Valicon studio.
Durstewitz made his first appearances after publication on October 23 at Schlag den Raab and the following week with two songs each day on TV total . In January 2011 Durstewitz released his second single Let Me Sing , which is the theme song of the film Vorstadtkrokodile 3 . He also has a small guest role in the film. In February Durstewitz completed his first tour of Germany. In June 2011 he performed together with the heavytones at the Lambertusmarkt in Erkelenz and at the Idstein Jazz Festival .
In 2013 Durstewitz took part in the Austrian casting show Die Große Chance on ORF . He dropped out in the second recall (one of two live shows with ten participants each) because the audience voting did not select him among the first five candidates. His supporting jury member Sido attested him one of the most extraordinary votes in the entire competition.
In 2015 Durstewitz recorded the CD Welt Zoo with musician friends and without a distribution label , which is only sold at concerts.
