Christian Stövesand

Christian Stövesand (born June 16, 1944 , † March 14, 1991 in Berlin ) was a German actor , dubbing and radio play speaker .

Life

Christian Stövesand was born the son of the actor Hermann Stövesand (1906–1982). He studied from 1961 to 1964 at the State Drama School in Berlin . Coming from the Volkstheater Rostock , he was engaged at the Deutsches Theater Berlin from 1971 until his death in 1991 at the age of 46 . The evening before his death he was still on stage as Silva in Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's drama Egmont . In addition to his theater work, he was also active for film and television in front of the camera and as a voice actor. He has appeared in several radio plays for radio and recordings.

His brother Reinhold Stövesand (1939–2015) and his daughter Hella Stövesand also took up the acting profession .
