Christoph Anselm Noll
Christoph Anselm Noll (* 1959 in Weißenthurm ) is a German harpsichordist , conductor , organist and music teacher .
As a small child, Noll moved with his family to the neighboring town of Andernach , where his father Jakob Noll (1929–2013) worked as a cantor for the Catholic parish of Sankt Albert and as a music teacher at the municipal secondary school , which later became the Scholl siblings , which was founded in the 1960s -Secondary school.
After graduating from high school, he studied Catholic church music , organ with Rudolf Ewerhart , harpsichord with Hugo Ruf and oboe with Helmut Hucke at the Cologne University of Music . From 1981 to 1994 he worked in his hometown Andernach as a cantor of the Catholic parish of Sankt Stephan and also taught from 1987 to 1997 at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz .
Since 1994 he has been working freelance in various early music ensembles , as a conductor and as a studio musician. In addition, he continues to work as a lecturer, around 1995 and 1996 as a guest lecturer at the State University for Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart and from 1991 to 2002 at the Detmold University of Music . Noll is married and lives in Königsfeld in the Ahrweiler district .
