Christoph Danne
Christoph Danne (born October 9, 1976 in Bonn ) is a German writer , editor and publisher .
life and work
After graduating from the Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium in Sankt Augustin and then doing community service, he studied German literature and language, as well as modern and Anglo-American history in Bonn , Berlin , Salamanca and Cologne . He received the academic degree of Magister in 2007, with work on Georg Trakl , Anna Seghers and aspects of pop literature.
Since 2001 Danne published as a poet in literary journals and magazines such as the spring world , [SIC] , asphalt tracks , The Dreischneuß or Ostragehege , he has also been in numerous poetry - Anthologies represented.
In 2009, together with Rodion Ebbighausen (Bonn), he founded tauland-Verlag with a focus on contemporary prose and poetry. In 2011 his first volume of poetry was published finderlohn . In addition, Christoph Danne is the initiator and organizer of the literary reading series Gegenlichtlesen (2012–2020) and the poetry evening HELLOPOETRY! The event takes place every six months in Cologne and is often broadcast on Kölncampusradio or Radio Marabu . In 2014 he was a prizewinner in the poetry competition postpoetry , and in 2016 he was invited to a preliminary reading at the Munich Poetry Prize . In 2017 he was a guest at the Hausacher Leselenz literature festival curated by Jose FA Oliver . Since 2017, Danne has been initiating the interdisciplinary poetry festival satellites together with the Literaturhaus Köln and the ELIF publishing house . a. with performances by Ron Winkler , Christoph Wenzel , Nora Gomringer , Marcel Beyer and Swantje Lichtenstein .
Danne lives and works as a bookseller in Cologne.
