Christoph Stollenwerk

Christoph Stollenwerk (born June 30, 1935 in Koblenz ) is a German lawyer , administrative officer and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and grammar schools in Koblenz and Ahrweiler and Boppard , where he graduated from high school in 1954, Stollenwerk studied law and political science at the universities in Bonn , Munich and Mainz . He passed the first state examination in law, completed his legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Koblenz and at the same time attended the University of Administrative Sciences in Speyer . He graduated in 1960 with the graduation to the Dr. jur. as well as with the second state examination in law.

Stollenwerk entered the civil service in the early 1960s, initially working at the Koblenz Higher Administrative Court and from 1962 to 1964 in the building and water law department of the Koblenz district government. In 1964 he moved to the Legislative Department of the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of the Interior, was personal assistant to the Interior Minister August Wolters from 1967 to 1971 and then worked as a personnel officer in the Interior Ministry until 1973. He later became general manager of the state association of Rhineland-Palatinate employers' associations and general manager of the Association of Palatinate Industry.

Public offices

Stollenwerk was district administrator for the Ahrweiler district from 1973 to 1976 . From 1976 to 1984 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of Culture and from 1984 to 1988 as State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics and Transport of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate .
