Joachim Weiler

Joachim Weiler (* 27. March 1947 in Oberwesel ; † 30th September 1999 in Ahrweiler ) was a German politician of the CDU . From November 1988 until his death he was the district administrator of the Rhineland-Palatinate district of Ahrweiler .

Life and work

Joachim Weiler grew in Oberwesel and studied after the Abitur law . After taking the second state examination , he worked from 1976 at the Mainz-Bingen district administration and as a lecturer at the Rhineland-Palatinate University of Applied Sciences in Mayen . From 1978 to 1981 he was office manager of the CDU federal chairman Helmut Kohl in the CDU federal office in Bonn . From 1981 to 1988 Joachim Weiler worked in the Ministry of the Interior and Sport in Mainz . In November 1988 he was appointed district administrator for the Ahrweiler district. In 1992 the district council of the Ahrweiler district elected him for ten more years in this office.

Joachim Weiler died completely unexpectedly on September 30, 1999 and was buried in Köngernheim .
