Wilhelm von Hoevel

Wilhelm Alexander Karl Johann Hilarius Benjamin von Hoevel (born January 12, 1817 in Herbeck (Hagen) , † February 27, 1859 in Ahrweiler ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and district administrator in the Ahrweiler district in the Rhine province .

Life

Wilhelm von Hoevel attended grammar school in Paderborn . From 1836 to 1838 he studied camera science in Bonn and Berlin . In 1840 he started as an auscultator at the Higher Regional Court in Münster and from 1841 worked in the Regional and City Court in Arnsberg . From 1843 he was a court trainee and in 1843 a government trainee in Cologne and at the end of 1847 as a government assessor in Düsseldorf and in 1849 in Koblenz . In 1849 Wilhelm von Hoevel became an interim district administrator and served as district administrator in Ahrweiler from 1853 to 1859 .
