Clark Dierks
Clark R. Dierks (born May 5, 1941 in Witten , South Dakota ) is an American soldier and politician ( Republican Party ).
Career
Clark R. Dierks was born in 1941 in the small town of Witten, Tripp County . His childhood was overshadowed by the Second World War . Nothing more is known about his youth. Dierks served in the United States Navy for four years . He graduated from Black Hills State College , Spearfish with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from the University of Arizona . In the following years he was active in community and civil affairs. In 1978 he was elected State Treasurer of Arizona . He took up his four-year term in early 1979. In 1982 he lost his candidacy for the post of Corporation Commissioner .
