Claudio Licciardello

Claudio Licciardello (born January 11, 1986 in Catania ) is an Italian athlete .

Licciardello took part in the 400-meter run at the 2004 Junior World Athletics Championships in Grosseto, the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg and the 2008 Olympic Games , but could not qualify for a final.

He achieved his greatest successes to date at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Turin in 2009 . With the Italian 4 x 400 meter relay , he secured the gold medal there and over 400 meters he was second behind the Swede Johan Wissman . At the 2010 European Athletics Championships in Barcelona, ​​he finished eighth in the relay. In the 400-meter run, he missed the final.

Claudio Licciardello is 1.86 m tall, weighs 73 kg and starts for the GS Fiamme Gialle in Rome.
