Orr was known as a classic enforcer for physical play and fistfighting.
Career
Orr played in the Canadian Junior Western Hockey League with the Swift Current Broncos , Kamloops Blazers and Regina Pats during his time in the junior division between 1998 and 2003 .
Already at the beginning of the 2001/02 season Orr had been signed as a free agent by the Boston Bruins from the National Hockey League after he had been ignored by the teams in the previous NHL Entry Drafts . After moving into the professional at the end of the 2002/03 season he came to the end of the 2004/05 season - with the exception of an NHL game in the 2003-04 season - only in the farm team for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League for use .
The following year, the Canadian came to at least 20 missions for the Boston Bruins between the beginning of October and the end of November 2005, before he was signed by the New York Rangers on the waiver list . With the Rangers, Orr came more and more to missions in the fourth row and was even able to enter the scorer list occasionally. His main task, however, was more fistfights and hard checks.
After a total of six years in the organization of the Maple Leafs, Orr left Toronto after the 2014/15 season and signed a contract limited to the American Hockey League with the newly founded Stockton Heat in October 2015 . There he ended the season with only 10 appearances and then announced the end of his active career in April 2016.
