The Communauté de communes Monts et Vallées Ouest Creuse is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Creuse in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on November 2, 2016 and comprises 43 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in La Souterraine .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

The association, originally founded under the cumbersome name Communauté de communes Pays Dunois, Pays Sostranien, Bénévent / Grand-Bourg , was renamed to its current name with effect from January 1, 2018.
