The Communauté de communes des Vals d'Aix et Isable is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Loire department , whose administrative headquarters are in the town of Saint-Germain-Laval . The area of the twelve affiliated municipalities extends in the middle of the department between Roanne and Saint-Étienne over an area of 196.3 km 2 and includes the valleys of the rivers Aix and Isable . President is Georges Bernat.
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Saint-Julien-la-Vêtre , Amions and Dancé became part of the Commune nouvelle Vézelin-sur-Loire . This reduced the number of member congregations to twelve.
tasks
The competencies required include the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning on the basis of a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale . The community association determines the housing policy. In environmental matters, he operates the garbage collection and disposal. The association also promotes cultural and sporting events.
