The Communauté de communes du Pays Entre Loire et Rhône (short: CoPLER ) is a French association of local authorities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes and its seat in Saint-Symphorien-de-Lay . Sixteen municipalities from the Loire and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions belong to the association .

tasks

The communauté de communes has been given the following tasks by the municipalities:

• Improvement of the infrastructure,
• joint planning in the tourist and cultural area,
• Common housing policy and design of the living environment,
• Development of the cultural and communicative infrastructure,
• Protection and design of the environment,
• Joint campaigns for children and young people, the establishment of a placement and training office for day care workers (Relais d'assistantes maternelles) and advice for the unemployed .

The CoPLER has an administrative board to which the participating municipal councils send representatives.

The number of representatives in the joint representation depends on the number of residents: there is one representative for every 500 residents.
