Pradines is a French municipality with 803 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Roanne and the canton of Charlieu (until 2015: canton of Saint-Symphorien-de-Lay ).
geography
Pradines is about nine kilometers east-southeast of Roanne . The river Rhins forms the southern boundary of the municipality. Pradines is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Perreux in the north and north-west, Montagny in the north-east, Régny in the east, Neaux in the south and Notre-Dame-de-Boisset in the west and south-west.
