Notre-Dame-de-Boisset is a French municipality with 143 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the arrondissement of Roanne in the canton of Le Coteau (until 2015: canton of Perreux ). Montagny is a member of the Association of Municipalities Roanne Agglomération .

Notre-Dame-de-Boisset is about five kilometers southeast of Roanne am Rhins , which forms the western and southern municipal boundaries. Notre-Dame-de-Boisset is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Vincent-de-Boisset and Perreux in the north, Pradines in the east, Neaux in the south and southeast, Saint-Cyr-de-Favières in the south and southwest and Parigny in the west.
