Jarnosse is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Villers in the north, Cuinzier in the northeast, Sevelinges in the east, La Gresle in the southeast, Coutouvre in the south and southwest, Boyer in the west and Saint-Hilaire-sous-Charlieu in the west and northwest.
