Saint-Pierre-la-Noaille is about 16 kilometers north of Roanne . The Loire flows west of the municipality. Saint-Pierre-la-Noaille is surrounded by the neighboring communities Iguerande in the north and northwest, Fleury-la-Montagne in the north and east, Saint-Nizier-sous-Charlieu in the south and Briennon in the west.
