Cremeaux is a French village with 904 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Loire department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Roanne and the Canton of Renaison (until 2015: Canton Saint-Just-en-Chevalet ). The inhabitants are called Cremausiens .

geography

Cremeaux is about 17 kilometers south-southwest of Roanne in the Forez . Cremeaux is surrounded by the neighboring communities Cherier in the north, Saint-Jean-Saint-Maurice-sur-Loire in the northeast, Bully and Saint-Polgues in the east, Souternon in the southeast, Luré in the south, Juré in the west and southwest and Saint-Just- en-Chevalet to the west and north-west.
