Bully is a French municipality with 408 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Rhône-Alpes ). Bully belongs to the Arrondissement of Roanne and the canton of Boën-sur-Lignon (until 2015 Saint-Germain-Laval ). The inhabitants are called Bullyçois .

Bully is 68 kilometers west-north-west of Lyon on the Loire , which borders the municipality in the east. Bully is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Jean-Saint-Maurice-sur-Loire in the north, Cordelle in the east, Vézelin-sur-Loire with Dancé in the south and southeast, Saint-Polgues in the south and Cremeaux in the west.
