Le Crozet is a French municipality with 272 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Roanne and the canton of Renaison (until 2015: canton of La Pacaudière ).
geography
Le Crozet is located about 22 kilometers northwest of Roanne in the Côte Roannaise wine-growing region , which extends on the slopes of the Monts de la Madeleine mountain range. Le Crozet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-d'Estréaux in the north and west, La Pacaudière in the east, Changy in the south-east and Saint-Bonnet-des-Quarts in the south.
