Combre is a French municipality with 439 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Roanne in the canton of Charlieu (until 2015: canton of Perreux ). Montagny is a member of the Association of Municipalities Roanne Agglomération .

geography

Combre is about fifteen kilometers east of Roanne on the Trambouze , a tributary of the Rhins . Combre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Thizy-les-Bourgs in the north and northeast, Saint-Victor-sur-Rhins in the south and southeast and Montagny in the west.

The National Route 7 runs through the municipality .
