Ouches is a French commune with 1,158 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Ouches belongs to the Arrondissement of Roanne and the Canton of Renaison (until 2015: Canton Roanne-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Ouchois .

Ouches is about seven kilometers west-southwest of Roanne . Ouches is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pouilly-les-Nonains in the north, Riorges in the northeast, Villerest in the east and southeast, Lentigny in the south and southwest, Saint-Alban-les-Eaux in the west and Saint-André-d'Apchon in the northwest.
