Caribe was a Brazilian car brand.

Brand history

A company from Messejana, a district of Fortaleza , manufactured automobiles between 2000 and 2001 . The brand name was Caribe . A total of seven vehicles were built.

The only model was a VW buggy . A tubular frame was hidden under the fiberglass body . A four-cylinder engine from Volkswagen do Brasil with a displacement of 1600 cm³ propelled the vehicles. The design is described as modern and well proportioned.
