Angra Indústria e Comércio de Carrocerias Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles and kit cars .

Company history

The Rio de Janeiro company started producing automobiles in the mid-1980s. The brand name was Angra . There were dealers in Belém , Vilhena , São Luís and Vitória . Production ended before 1990.

vehicles

The first model was a VW buggy . The vehicles were powered by a four - cylinder boxer engine from Volkswagen do Brasil . The open body was made of fiberglass . The rectangular headlights were striking.

The Especial, the successor to the Beach von Beach, was a mixture of a buggy and a sporty convertible . There were no technical differences to the buggy.

In 1986 a vehicle in nostalgia style was also advertised.
