Xiru ( spelling : xiRu ) was a Brazilian car brand.

Brand history

A company from Porto Alegre started producing automobiles and kit cars in 2008 under the direction of Rafael Guido Klaudat . The brand name was Xiru . In 2012 a second model was presented. Then the track of the company is lost.

vehicles

The offer consisted of off-road vehicles . They were based on chassis from Jeep ( Jeep CJ-5 ) and Ford . An open body made of fiberglass was mounted on top. Some details were similar to the Suzuki Samurai and Land Rover Defender . There was a roll-over device behind the front seats .

The 2012 model had a different grille , twin headlights and an optional hard top .
