Servmax was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company from São Bernardo do Campo originally manufactured components for vehicles. Automobile production began in the early 1980s. The brand name was Servmax . Before the end of the decade, production stopped.

The first model was a replica of the MG TD with a resemblance to the MP Lafer . An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine was mounted in the rear and drove the rear wheels. More than 150 vehicles were made from this model.

The replica of the Mercedes-Benz 350 SL of the 107 series followed in 1986 . The engine and other parts came from the Chevrolet Opala . There was a choice of engines with a displacement of 2500 cm³ and a displacement of 4100 cm³. The open body was made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic . Two to three vehicles a month, a few dozen in all .
