José Maria Alves de Lima founded the company in Natal in 1988 . First he traded in VW buggies . In the 1990s, the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Cobra . Production ended in 1998. A state source knows vehicles built between 1993 and 1998.

The only model was a buggy. The open body had no doors. A roll-over device provided more stability and safety. The angular headlights that were integrated into the front of the vehicle were striking.
