Pantera Design Indústria e Comércio Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was based in São Paulo . In 1988 the production of automobiles and kit cars began . The brand name was Pantera Design . Production ended in 1992.

vehicles

Most of the models were based on chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil with a rear engine. In some cases they have been cut, in others they have not. There was a short two-seater and a longer four-seater VW buggy . In addition, replicas of the MG TD and Porsche 911 were available as coupé and convertible .

In contrast to the other models, the replica of the AC Cobra had an engine from the Chevrolet Opala .

There were also pick-ups with double cabins made of fiberglass .
