JPX Indústria e Comércio Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Eike Batista founded the company in Pouso Alegre in 1992 . He started producing automobiles in 1993 under a license from Auverland . The brand name was JPX . Production ended in 2001. A total of around 2800 vehicles were built.

Off-road vehicles with all-wheel drive were on offer . The four-cylinder - diesel engines with 1,905 cc displacement came from Peugeot . They made 71  hp or 90.5 hp with the help of a turbocharger .

There was also a pick-up .
