Sport Rein was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Brand history

The company from the Jacarepaguá district of Rio de Janeiro began producing automobiles in early 1984. The brand name was Sport Rein . Production ended in 1987.

The only model was a sporty VW buggy . The doorless body was made of fiberglass . An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine from the VW Brasília with 1700 cc displacement and double carburetors was mounted in the rear and drove the rear wheels. The vehicles were made to order.
