Bugrauto Auto Serviços Ltda. is a Brazilian company and a former manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Senos siblings founded the company in Cabo Frio in 1984 as a car rental company. Between 1989 and 1996 they made 19 automobiles. The brand name was Búzios . After that, the repair of jet skis began . In 2002 they presented another vehicle that remained a one-off.

The vehicles from 1989 to 1996 were VW buggies . The basis was a chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil , which was reinforced with metal tubes. The open body was made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (fiberglass). The angular headlights were integrated into the front of the vehicle. The catalyst was unusual .

The prototype Jeep Mammoth followed in 2002 . This SUV with all-wheel drive had a diesel engine of Mitsubishi with 145  hp power.
