Skorpius Fiberglass Indústria e Comércio Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Diadema in 1983 to produce automobiles and kit cars . The brand name was Skorpius . Production ended after two years.

vehicles

The range included VW buggies . The basis was a chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil . In the case of the VW Beetle and VW Brasília it was shortened by 35 cm and in the case of the VW Type 3 Variant and TL by 41 cm. An open, doorless body made of fiberglass was mounted on top. There was a roll-over device behind the front seats .

In the Zangão model , angular headlights were partially integrated into the front of the vehicle. The simpler Skorpius had free-standing round headlights.
