Autosfibra Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Itajaí in 1999 . It started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Autosfibra . Some of the vehicles were exported. The company was also involved in vehicle tuning .

The factory was closed in 2019 for counterfeiting.

Replicas of sporty vehicles were on offer . The basis was a self-made tubular frame. The body was made of plastic and fiberglass . The engines came from various domestic and foreign manufacturers and were often mounted in a mid-engine design behind the seats.

The replicas of Ferrari F355, Lamborghini Murciélago, Porsche 550 and 993 were still in the range. Four replicas were added. That of the Ferrari F50 had a V8 engine with 230  hp as a mid-engine and that of the Ferrari 400 had a six-cylinder engine with 220 hp as the front engine. The replica of the Porsche GTA 3 had a V6 engine with 210 hp from Subaru in the rear. The replica of the Ford GT 40 had a Ford V8 engine with 210 hp in the center of the vehicle.
