Company history

The company Spaic Indústria e Comércio de Carrocerias Ltda. from Rio de Janeiro started producing automobiles and kit cars in 1983 . The brand name was initially Spaic , from 1986 also Bobby for a model. At the end of 1986 the name was changed to Bobby Indústria e Comércio de Carrocerias Ltda. At the same time the old brand name was given up. Production ended in the 1980s. There were dealers in Belo Horizonte and Natal in 1986 and in Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and Manaus in 1987 .
