Megastar Veículos Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Pindamonhangaba company started developing an automobile in 1995 with the help of Lotus Cars . Production started in 1997. The brand name was Emme . Production ended in 1999. In 2000 the company went bankrupt . The goal of a daily production of 50 vehicles was clearly missed. A total of 15 vehicles were built.

The only model was a four-door sedan . The base was a tubular steel frame. Three different four-cylinder engines were planned . In the 420 , the engine made 148  hp from a capacity of 2000 cc , in the 420 T from the same capacity with the help of a turbocharger 200 hp and in the 422 T from a capacity of 2200 cm³ 264 hp.

With a wheelbase of 276 cm, the vehicles were 462 cm long, 180 cm wide and 140 cm high. The curb weight was given as 1591 kg.

The company also made scooters .
