Sociedade de Automóveis Lumimari Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Luís Roberto Alves da Costa, Milton Masteguin, Mário César de Camargo Filho and Genaro Rino Malzoni founded the company in 1964. The company name contained the first two letters of their call names. The company's headquarters were initially in Matão and from 1965 in São Paulo . They started with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Malzoni , sometimes referred to as DKW-Malzoni or GT Malzoni . Production ended in 1966. A total of around 35 or 43 to 45 road vehicles were built

Puma is considered the successor to the brand.

Kiko Malzoni, son of Genaro Malzoni, brought in the 1970s with his company Malzoni again brand vehicle Malzoni on the market.

The only model was the GT Malzoni . This was a coupe . The base was a chassis from Vemag , which was shortened by 23 cm. A three - cylinder two-stroke engine from Vemag was mounted in the front of the vehicle and powered the front wheels. It had 74 mm bore , 76 mm stroke and 981 cc displacement . In the road vehicles it developed 60  hp to 68 hp, in the racing versions around 100 hp. The body was made of steel for the prototypes and fiberglass for the series vehicles . With a wheelbase of 222 cm, the vehicles were 390 cm long, 170 cm wide and 130 cm high.
