Santina Veículos was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Rio de Janeiro company began producing automobiles and kit cars in 1985 . The brand name was Belfusca . Production ended in 1987.

Duna continued the production of a model under its own brand name.

vehicles

The first model was a VW buggy . An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine from Volkswagen do Brasil was mounted in the rear and powered the rear wheels. The four angular headlights on the front of the vehicle were striking.

In 1987 the Beljipe was added. This was a two-door multi-purpose vehicle on the same basis. The body was made of fiberglass .
