Sulamericana Carrocerias Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in Poá in the early 1960s . The most important field of activity was bodywork . A few automobiles were made in the 1980s . The brand name was Sulamericana . In the 1990s the company was dissolved.

vehicles

Most pick-ups have been converted into double cabins or station wagons . Mostly the base came from Chevrolet or Ford . Armored vehicles were also created.

The only independent car model was the Mirage , a sports car . The body of the coupe was made of fiberglass . A six-cylinder engine from the Chevrolet Opala with a displacement of 4100 cm³ propelled the vehicles.
