Icomda Comércio e Desenvolvimento Automobilístico Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The São José dos Campos company started producing automobiles and kit cars in 1986 . The brand name was Icomda . Production ended in the 1990s.

vehicles

The first Brigão model was an all -terrain vehicle. It had a self-made tubular frame, an air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine from the VW Brasília with a displacement of 1600 cm³ in the rear and a body made of fiberglass .

In 1989 the VW Buggy Brasileirinho followed . It also had a tubular frame and VW boxer engines, including one with a displacement of 1200 cc. Only two of these were made.

After that, only replicas of classic vehicles such as MG TD , Porsche 550 and Porsche 911 were made . They had a chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil and a fiberglass body.
