Company history

The company was founded in 1986 in Santana de Parnaíba . Initially, it dealt with welding . In 1989 the development and manufacture of racing cars began . Replicas of classic automobiles followed in 1991 . The brand name is Cobramotorsport , according to some sources also CMS , Cobracar and QSH . The vehicles are also available as kit cars .

The offer includes replicas of the AC Cobra . The Mk 2 Inglês version is intended for export and is more faithful to the original than the other model. The Glaspac , an allusion to the Indústria de Plástico Reforçado Glaspac , has a simpler structure. It has a larger wheelbase , a larger front track and is 15 cm longer and 14 cm wider. A tubular frame forms the basis of both models. An open body made of fiberglass is mounted on it. A V8 engine from Ford with 5000 cc displacement drives the vehicles. The engines produce between 220 hp and 481 hp. Motors with a displacement of 7000 cm³ are also possible. There is a choice of four, five and six-speed transmissions.
