Acha Indústria e Comércio de Carrocerias Esportivas Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles and kit cars .

Company history

The company from Santos presented a vehicle at an automobile exhibition in 1978. Production and sales only began in 1982. The brand name was Acha . Production ended a little later. A total of three vehicles were built.

Rino Malzoni, known from Malzoni and Puma , designed the GT 4 R prototype between 1969 and 1974 . Pedro Casella from Santos acquired the body shapes for the vehicle in 1975. The company manufactured the 1978 prototype on this basis. Further details were changed until series production in 1982.

The chassis of the VW Brasília formed the basis of the vehicles . A fiberglass body was mounted on top. It was a hatchback coupe . A four - cylinder boxer engine was mounted in the rear and drove the rear wheels.
