Fábrica de veículos Caiçara Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles and kit cars .

Company history

The Duque de Caxias company began producing automobiles and kits in 1987. The brand name was Atobá . Two sources state that production ended in 1988. Another source states that the vehicles were no longer manufactured in 1994. A state source knows vehicles built up to 1994.

A VW buggy was on offer . The open, doorless body was made of plastic . A four - cylinder boxer engine from Volkswagen do Brasil with a displacement of 1600 cm³ propelled the vehicles.
