Aurora Projetos Automobilísticos Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Oduvaldo Barranco founded the company in Valinhos in 1989 . He started developing an automobile. In 1990 he presented a design at an automobile exhibition. The brand name was Aurora . Production ended in 1993. A total of three vehicles were sold. A state source knows vehicles built up to 1993.

The only model 122 C was a sports car . The monocoque was made of plastic and fiberglass . The coupé offered space for two people. An engine from the Chevrolet Monza was mounted in a mid-engine design behind the seats and drove the rear wheels. The engine capacity was increased from originally 2000 cm³ to 2184 cm³. With the help of a turbocharger, it developed 214  hp .
