Fiberbras Indústria e Comércio Ltda. was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Rio de Janeiro company manufactured automobiles in the 1980s that were marketed as Kauê . An advertisement from the company has survived for 1984. In the second half of the decade, Lomer continued production under its own brand name.

The only model was a VW buggy . An open body made of fiberglass was mounted on a chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil . An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine in the rear drove the rear wheels. There was a roll-over device behind the front seats . The angular headlights were unusual. The wheel cutouts in the fenders were conspicuously angular.
