Indústria e Comércio de Plásticos Reforçados Mirage was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The São Paulo company took over a project from Lorena in 1976 . In 1977 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Mirage . Production ended in 1981. A total of five vehicles were built.

There was no connection to the other Brazilian car brand Mirage .

The only GT model was a sports car . Usually with the body as a coupé , a convertible was also created . The body was made of fiberglass and was strikingly flat. There were two round headlights on each side at the front of the vehicle. At least one vehicle was based on the chassis from the VW SP 2 .

The only cabriolet still exists and was restored in 2010.
