LS Indústria e Comércio de Produtos de Fiberglass was a Brazilian manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The São Paulo company started manufacturing automobiles in 1978. The brand name was Rebelde . Production ended around 1981. In total, only a few vehicles were built.

There was no connection to the Brazilian car brand of the same name, Rebelde , which was sold in the 1990s.

The only model was similar to the jeep . The basis was a chassis from Volkswagen do Brasil . An open body made of fiberglass was mounted on top. It had two doors and could accommodate four people. Round headlights can be seen on an advertisement from 1978. But there is also a photo from 1981 with square headlights. An air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine in the rear drove the rear wheels.
